We all were a bit nervous when we stood at Düsseldorf airport waiting for the plane that took us to London. It was already night and the sky was in a deep dark colour when we arrived at Salisbury station.

All of us spent the first weekend with their host families. The following day we visited London with the Houses of Parliament, Nelson Column and Madame Tussaud’s, which was everyone’s favourite. Other trips lead us to Oxford, Stonehenge, and to Salisbury Cathedral. Furthermore we enjoyed participating different lessons at Godolfin School and other activities together with our English exchange students like baking and decorating cup cakes.

All in all it was a wonderful and well-prepared trip with lots of adventures. Thanks to Mrs Quernhorst, Mr Bauhaus and Mrs Cibis (the teacher in charge of the project at Godolfin School in Salisbury)!
